Support Page — RenewalHub Stock Fulfillment
What Stock Fulfillment checks
Stock Fulfillment scans active products published to the Online Store and looks at inventory-tracked variants.
It flags a variant when:
- the variant uses Shopify’s inventory policy that stops selling when inventory is unavailable;
- positive available stock exists somewhere;
- none of that positive stock is at an active inventory level and active location able to fulfill online orders.
Does Stock Fulfillment change my store?
No. Stock Fulfillment is read-only. It does not change:
- inventory quantities;
- products;
- locations;
- shipping profiles;
- themes;
- checkout;
- customer data.
What does an issue mean?
An issue means the scan found positive inventory for that variant, but zero positive inventory at an active location configured to fulfill online orders.
Open the issue to see the locations holding the stock.
Does a clean scan guarantee the product can be purchased?
No. Stock Fulfillment checks one specific inventory-location condition. Shipping profiles, Markets, delivery settings, product configuration, apps, and other Shopify settings can also affect checkout and fulfillment.
Why wasn’t a product scanned?
V1 focuses on active products published to the Online Store that use inventory tracking. It intentionally ignores untracked inventory and variants configured to continue selling when out of stock.
How do I fix an issue?
Use Open product in Shopify from the issue details, then review:
- where the variant’s inventory is assigned;
- whether the intended location is active;
- whether that location is configured to fulfill online orders.
Stock Fulfillment does not make the change automatically.
